Letters from America // DJCAD Final Year

The largest project I put together for my final year portfolio.

My roles in this project: Illustrator, Layout Designer

This project started as a much smaller brief at the beginning of the year, where we were given two letters that we had to illustrate. The letters I was given were “U” and “F”, so I chose to represent Utah and Florida. I enjoyed the brief so much that I decided to do the 48 other States as a final project for my folio. Each letter contains State symbols and landmarks, and the colour schemes are influenced by gemstones and local colours.
